The bathroom at Downs Gate Cottage was amazing! It had both a shower and a bath, so we had options depending on our mood. It was so nice to unwind in the tub after a long day of exploring. We really loved the luxurious feel of the bathroom.

Personally, we found the shower pressure a bit weak. But hey, everyone's different, right?

The garden chairs were incredibly comfortable, so much so that we ordered some for our own home! The double thickness blinds in the bedroom kept the sun out, something often overlooked in rentals. We loved the great coffee machine and easily found Nespresso pods at Tesco. The beach was just across the road and there was a fantastic park for our 5-year-old nearby as well. The Pilot Inn in front of the house was a nice spot for drinks, with no noise in the evening. Highly recommended for families and friends!

The nearby pub, although fully booked, was still enjoyable for drinks with no noise in the evening. This place is definitely recommended for both families and friends. The facilities all worked perfectly, and we found the furnishings, including the comfortable double bed and cozy lounge, to be very satisfactory.
